The Domain Catalog located on the PSSearch/PeopleSoft server is a directory that contains the names of the public Lotus Notes databases and the servers they reside on.
To find a database in the Domain Catalog:
- Open the
Domain Catalog on the PSSearch server and click the
by Title view.
- For information on how to find the Domain Catalog,
click here.
- Type the name of the database and press the
{Enter} key. Click on the title of the database to open the section listing the servers the database is located on.
- Single click on the server name that the database should be accessed from.
- Click the
Open button and press the
{Esc} key to close the "About this database" document after it has been read. The database will be open.
A bookmark for the database will automatically be created in the Databases bookmark folder with the blue book on it. You can open the database in the future by clicking the bookmark. For additional information on bookmarks, see Eureka! document

If a user does not have access to a database, an error will be received when trying to open it. For additional information, see Eureka! document

To open the Domain Catalog in Lotus Notes:
- Open Lotus Notes.
- Select
F
ile from the menu bar.
- Select
D
atabase from the drop down list and select
O
pen... from the next drop down list.
- Type
PSSearch in the Server: window and click the
Open button.
- Double click on
Domain Catalog in the Database: window to open it.
The Domain Catalog database is now open.
