How to detach a file from a Lotus Notes document
There are several ways to view an attachment in Lotus Notes. When you double-click on the attachment, the Attachment Properties dialog box opens.
You have three options when the Attachment Properties dialog box opens:
Click View... to view the contents of the attachment.
Click Launch... to view the contents through the application you have associated with that type of file.
Click Detach... to save the attached file to your hard drive. Specify the path where the file should be saved and click D etach... to save it to that location on your hard drive.
