Retrieving a Record Using Search Criteria

You can use the % wildcard on a field if you are not sure of an exact spelling or the value of a record you are looking for.
For example, if you are looking for the contact record for John Mooney, but you are not sure of the exact spelling, you could enter
Mo% in the
Last Name field to bring up all contacts with a last name beginning with the letters "mo".

Searching without Search Criteria
There may be times when you are not sure what search criteria to use. If you do not enter search parameters in the search box, simply click the
Search button to be presented with a comprehensive listing of all records in the table you are searching on.
Note: Depending on the size of the table, the response time may be quite long. It is recommended to enter search criteria on at least one field, if possible, to reduce the size and time of the search.
You can scroll through the search box to find the value you are interested in viewing. Select the record you want to view and you will be taken directly to that data.
