View Forecast As

Document number: 11490

Suppose you want to see only opportunities with a status of active and forecast type of stretch.

  1. Select the Status as Active, Forecast Type of Stretch.

  2. Click Filter to see the narrowed data represented in the forecast Breakdown and Graphs. Notice all other amounts (the other main revenue types) are $0.00.

The top of the Forecast Summary page includes the header information as well as the Forecast Breakdown by the 5 PeopleSoft main Revenue Types (License, Maintenance, Consulting, Training and Hosting) and Forecast Type. The PeopleSoft Forecast Total excludes Stretch amounts. Exceptions are any opportunities that have not been updated to reflect an appropriate forecast type/estimated close date combination. If there are any exceptions in your forecast, make sure to go back and update your opportunities accordingly.

Notice the Forecast name is 01-25-02, and the Time Frame is 2002-Q1. The Begin Date and End Date illustrate the specific range of the quarter.

View Forecast As provides managers with the ability to view this same information as another person within their rollup structure. Sales representatives do not use the View Forecast As.

View Organization links you to a page where you can see all of the people that are in your reporting organization. You will only see data here if there is anybody that sits below you in the organization.

Forecast Rollup is used by management to navigate to their Revenue Forecast Rollup page of the forecast.

If you have filters selected, the amounts represented in the Forecast Breakdown will be narrowed by your criteria.
