Can my organization have more than one PeopleSoft Web Administrator?
Yes. Current PeopleSoft Web Administrators have the ability to set both of these flags for multiple contacts within Contact Management. It is important to note that Web Administrators have advanced access and edit rights. We recommend that this authorization be granted to a limited number of people per customer.
To add another PeopleSoft Web Administrator:
- Choose
Profile from the top navigation of any page in Customer Connection.
- Select
Contact Management.
- Search for the contact record of the person you want to make a Web Administrator by entering a
first and last name, then choosing
Submit. To see a list of all contacts for your organization, leave the search fields empty and click
Submit.
- Highlight the contact record of the person by clicking on the
name, then choose
Open.
- To make that contact a PeopleSoft Web Administrator, place a check mark in the box next to
Contact is a Web Administrator.
- Verify that all other information in the contact record is correct, then choose
Submit.

How can I find out who my PeopleSoft Web Administrator is?
If you have access to Customer Connection, log in to
Profile Administration, select

If you don't have access to Customer Connection, you can contact the Global Support Center and they can look the name up for you.

How does the first PeopleSoft Web Administrator get created?
As part of the New Customer Launch, PeopleSoft Customer Care works with you to identify an appropriate person to manage your Customer Connection logons. This person is designated as the PeopleSoft Web Administrator. Normally, the first contact from your company to be set up on Customer Connection is your Primary Contact (designated on your PeopleSoft contract). If you're unsure of who to designate as PeopleSoft Web Administrator, we initially flag your Primary Contact as the PeopleSoft Web Administrator.
