Document number: 12039

Bookmarks provide quick links to important information such as databases, views, documents and web pages.

To create a bookmark to a database:

  1. Open the Domain Catalog on the PSSearch server in Lotus Notes.

  2. Type the name of the database that the bookmark will be created for and press {Enter}.

  3. Single click on the section header to the left of the database title to list the servers the database can be accessed from.

  4. Highlight the closest server by single clicking on it and click the Open button.

  5. With the database open, select Create from the menu bar and then select Bookmark... from the drop down list.

  6. In the Name field, type the name of the bookmark.

  7. In the Add to section, highlight the location of the bookmark.

    • If - Bookmark Bar - is selected, the bookmark will be added to the bookmark bar itself.

    • If a folder does not yet exist, a new folder can be created to place the bookmark in by clicking the New Folder... button.

  8. Click OK

The bookmark will be created in the location specified.
