The following steps will walk you through checking the Virus Definition version of your McAfee VirusScan.

1. Right Click on the McShield icon in your system tray .

2. Left Click on About.

3. This will return the About McAfee VirusScan window (Click icon to see screen shot: ).

4. The version of your virus definitions will be in the in center box on the second line. The date of the definition was created is on the third line.
