Receiving the same message twice in Lotus Notes
If a user is in two different distribution lists that are included in the To:, cc: or bcc: fields of an e-mail message, that user will receive the message twice. Lotus Notes sees that the message is being sent to the distribution lists but cannot compare member names of the lists being sent to. If a user continually receives duplicate messages, it could be that they do not need to be in so many lists and should be removed from one (or more).
