If your NorthStar client password has been deleted or is blank, you will notice typing any password with your username will allow you to log into NorthStar.

Note: For security reasons, you should never have a blank password.

To solve this, you need to set a new password in NorthStar. To do this:

1. Log into the NorthStar client.

2. Choose File, Set Password.

3. You will be prompted to enter your current password, the new password, and to confirm the new password.
   • When prompted, leave the "Current Password" field blank.
   • Enter a new password in the "New Password" field.

   • Re-enter your new password in the "Verify Password" field.

4. Click OK to save your new password.

The NorthStar client will now only allow your username and password combination to gain access to the NorthStar client.
