You can run an automated SMS client repair utility as an alternative to the manual steps of checking the health of the SMS client on your machine. To run the SMS client check and repair utility, follow these steps:

1. Click here to run the automated repair utility. When prompted, click the Open button to run the utility.

2. The utility will provide pop-up messages as it checks, and if needed, corrects issues on your machine. You will see one of two messages when the utility completes, shown below.

   • No issues detected. The utility completed and found nothing that need repairing

   • Repair Completed. Please allow at least 10 minutes for changes to be applied. Number of issues corrected: # (where # indicates the number of items that were automatically repaired).

Your SMS client is restored to a working status once the utility completes and at least 10 minutes have passed.
