To install or upgrade Cognos PowerPlay on your PeopleSoft machine for use in Enterprise Reporting (eReports):

1. Close down all applications except Lotus Notes.

2. Launch the Lotus Notes Software Library.

   • If you don't have the Software Library bookmark see Eureka! document 16250 — How to add the Software Library database link to Lotus Notes.

3. Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.

4. Click By Package Name.  This view will probably already be showing as it is the default view.

5. Scroll until you see the entry Cognos PowerPlay 6.61 for EDS and double click on it to open it.

6. Read the information on the page.

7. Follow the instructions on the page to install the software. Be sure to install the correct software.

   • Note: Cognos PowerPlay 6.61 is NOT certified with any version of PeopleTools. For information in getting help with using Cognos, see Eureka! document 15057 — How to get help with Cognos for Enterprise Reporting (eReports).

 

You should be able to view eReports using Cognos PowerPlay 6.61.
