How to set yourself to Active status in NorthStar client after being Out of Office
Once you have returned to the office, you should reset your NorthStar client technician status from Out of Office to Active. Follow these steps:
Click on the Start menu, then on Programs, then on NorthStar and then on NorthStar.
Click on the File menu, then on Open, then Admin, then on Technician...
Enter your Employee ID into the appropriate field and click on the Search button.
Change the Status field to read Active.
Close your Technician record. You will be prompted to save your changes. Click Yes.
Your changes will be saved.
The technician who was assigned your tickets while you were Out of Office will receive an email letting them know you have returned to Active status.
