About Office Assistants at PeopleSoft

The default version of Microsoft Office 97 installs two Office Assistants. At PeopleSoft, we have installed 13 different Assistants from which to choose. Each one has a different "personality". All, except one, are capable for animation. Here is a list of the available assistants in order of appearance:

Clippit (paper clip)

The Dot (red dot)

Earl (blue cartoon cat)

The Genius ("Einstein" character)

Hoverbot (spaceship-like character)

Rotating Microsoft Office logo

Mother Nature (earth-like symbol that mutates)

Power Pup (white cartoon dog)

F1 ("Short Circuit"-type character)

Rocky (cartoon dog)

Scribble (paper cat)

Nonanimated Microsoft Office logo

Will (Shakespeare-type character)
