How to change the size of the Office 97 Assistant window

This issue applies only to the Office 97 assistant.

The default size of the Office Assistant Window is about 1-1/2 inches square. The smaller size for the Office Assistant window is about 1 inch square. You can change the size of the window by following these steps:

Place your mouse over any part of the Office Assistant window border. A double-headed arrow appears.
Drag the border to either the large or small size.

The Office 97 Assistant window should be sized as you have specified.

Note: If you have not resized the Office Assistant to the smaller size, after 5 minutes of inactivity in an open Microsoft Office document, the Office Assistant window automatically shrinks to the smaller size. To restore the window to the larger size, click on the window, or press { F1}.
