How turn off the sound for the Office Assistants
By default, the Office Assistant is set to make sounds when you attempt certain tasks. You can turn off the sound by following these steps:
Right-click the Office Assistant window.
Click on O ptions...
In the Assistant capabilities box, clear the box next to Make sounds.
Click OK.
Your Office Assistant should no longer make sounds.
