Your Lotus Notes archive should be backed up by default by Connected software, but to make sure, follow these steps:

1. Determine the path and filename of your archive.
   • Generally, it is located in:
     • C:\apps\notes\data\mail\a_( yourmailfilename).nsf, OR
     • C:\apps\notes\data\archive\a_( yourmailfilename)NSF

   • If it's not there, you may not have an archive; see Eureka! document 12044 — How to archive mail in Lotus Notes.

2. Make sure the archive file is included in your backup.
