Can't open ZIP files on the Web with PKZIP
The difficulty you are experiencing is that you are unable to open ZIP files on a website using PKZIP. The PKZIP window launches, but none of the buttons are available to click. Your screen may look something like the following image, or nothing happens at all and you click on the link:

STEP ONE: Install the new version
STEP TWO: Remove PKZip Plug-In(s)
STEP THREE: Workaround
STEP ONE - Install the new version
A new version of PKZIP is available in the Software Library in Lotus Notes. To install the new version from the Software Library in Lotus Notes, follow these steps:
If you don't have the Software Library bookmark see document 16250 — How to add the Software Library database link to Lotus Notes for instructions on installing the Software library bookmark.
Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.
Scroll until you see the entry PKZip file compression utility, ZIP, PKWare and double click on it to open it.
Follow the instructions on the page to install the software.
Try the link again. If that doesn't work, go down to Step Two.

Remove the PKZIP Plug-In(s). Follow these steps:
Close down applications on your machine so that you are at your Windows Desktop.
Click on Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
Choose Add/Remove Programs.
Wait for all the information to load - it may take a few moments.
Scroll down to PKZIP Plug-In -Registered Version.
Click on that entry once.
Click on the Remove button.
You may be asked if you are sure you want to remove the program. Click Yes.
If there are any other PKZip Plug-In's listed on the Add/Remove Programs screen, repeat steps 5 — 8 until all the Plug-In's have been removed.
Close the Add/Remove window and the Control Panel window
Reboot your machine.
You should now be able to double-click on zip files on the web. If you still cannot, please note this in a NorthStar ticket, and try the workaround below.

If you just want to download the zip file or the steps above do not work, follow these steps to get the file:
Right-click on the link you wish to unzip.
Choose Save Target As...
The Save As windows appears. Navigate to a drive and directory to which you have write privileges - either your hard drive or a network drive.
Click Save to save the file to that location.
Open My Computer and navigate to the location to which you saved the file.
Unzip the file from that location by double-clicking on it. Follow the instructions in Eureka! document 15096 — How to unzip a file using PKZIP.
The file(s) should be unzipped and viewable at the location you specify.
