Backing up and retrieving your Internet Explorer Favorites from Connected Backup
The Internet Explorer Favorites folder location is dependent on your network user name and your operating system. You must add the files to your backup manually. "URUSERID" as used below refers to your network ID. For information on how to find your network ID, see Eureka! document 55125 — Network name. The files are located as follows:

To retrieve (restore) the files, see Eureka! document 11233 — How to retrieve (restore) files from Connected Backup. When you get a new machine, you can retrieve the files to your new machine. If you are moving from a Windows NT 4 to Windows 2000 machine, make sure you retrieve the files to the correct location ( C:\Documents and Settings\ URUSERID \Favorites for Windows 2000).
