Note: After you install PKZIP version 5, you MAY run into the PKZIP Explorer Configuration screen when you right-click on files in My Computer, particularly if you did not have PKZIP installed at all previously. For more information, see Eureka! document 15292 — PKZIP Explorer Configuration screen appears.

PKZIP version 5 is available in the Software Library in Lotus Notes. To install the new version from the Software Library in Lotus Notes, follow these steps:

1. Open Lotus Notes, then open the Software Library by clicking the bookmark link.
• You may need to look in your databases folder for the Software library bookmark .

• If you don't have the Software Library bookmark see document 16250 — How to add the Software Library database link to Lotus Notes for instructions on installing the Software library bookmark.

2. Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.

3. Scroll until you see the entry PKZip file compression utility, ZIP, PKWare and double click on it to open it.

4. Follow the instructions on the page to install the software.

5. Reboot your machine.

PKZIP Version 5 should be installed on your computer.

To launch PKZIP, click on the Start menu, then on Utilities, then PKZIP for Windows.
