If your retrieval (or restore) of files in Connected Backup seems to be taking a long time, consider the following:

Even restoring one file can take a good amount of time as the administrative processes identify your account, locate the file, and then retrieve the files from the server.
If you are retrieving numerous files or large files, it may take a long time for the retrieval process to complete.
During certain times of the day, the server traffic can be much heavier and will slow down the retrieval process. Generally, workdays during the midday hours in Pleasanton are quite busy and retrievals will tend to take longer.
