How to change Eureka! shortcut and Favorite links
You may be receiving the Eureka! redirect page when you launch a personal shortcut or Favorite link. Click on icon for screenshot:

You will need to change the information for that personal shortcut or Favorite bookmark link. Click on one of the following:
Changing a Eureka! icon Favorite
Changing a Favorite bookmark to a specific Eureka! document
Changing the windows shortcut
Using Start -> Programs -> PS WinApps -> Eureka! icon
Changing a Eureka! Favorite bookmark
To change the link from Internet Explorer Favorites:
Launch Internet Explorer.
Click on the F avorites menu.
Navigate to the Eureka! link and right-click on it.
Choose P roperties.
On the Web Document tab, in the URL field type (or copy and paste) the following: http://eureka.peoplesoft.com/selectcb.htm
Click OK.
The Favorite link should launch successfully launch Eureka!

Changing a bookmark to a specific Eureka! document
To change a link to a specific Eureka! bookmark in your Favorites:
Launch Internet Explorer.
Click on the F avorites menu.
Navigate to the Eureka! link and right-click on it.
Choose P roperties.
Example: http://eureka.peoplesoft.com/html/50003.htm.
Example: http://eureka.peoplesoft.com/html/50003.htm.
The Favorite bookmark to the specific Eureka! document should now launch the correct document without going through the redirect page.
You must repeat these steps for all Eureka! document bookmarks you have in your Internet Explorer Favorites.

Whether the shortcut is on your windows Quick Launch bar or your windows desktop, the steps are the same:
Right-click on the shortcut.
Choose P roperties.
On the Shortcuts tab, in the Target field type in (or copy and paste) the following (including quotation marks): "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" eureka.peoplesoft.com/selectcb.htm
Click OK.
The shortcut should now successfully launch Eureka!

Using Start -> Programs -> PS WinApps -> Eureka! icon
If you are using the Eureka! icon from the Start -> Programs -> PS WinApps group, you do not have to change that icon. That icon will be modified in the near future by an automatic process.
