To install the Process Modeler software follow these instructions:

1. Uninstall any prior versions of Process Modeler or Solution Modeler. You may wish to reboot after removing the prior version.

• For instructions on removing the program, see Eureka! document 69004 — How to uninstall and install software.

2. Close down all open applications, except Internet Explorer.

3. Click on this URL, which is located on the Field Connection website: http://planetx.peoplesoft.com/field_connection/products/lines/appconnect/process_modeler/dl_process_modeler_and_process_models.html.

• You can also access the install via Planet PeopleSoft. Log into Planet, and then do the following navigation: Communities > Sales (Field Connection) > Product + Services > Enterprise Products > AppConnect > Process Modeler > Product Info tab > Download Process Modeler and the Process Models.

4. Click on the Process Modeler 8.9 Install link.

5. Be patient - the installation may take a few minutes to start.

6. Choose Run this file from its current location and click OK.

• NOTE: You may get a Security Warning instead of this step. If you do, choose Open and your next window will begin at Step 10 below.

7. Click Yes on the Security Warning screen.

8. On the Location to Save Files screen, leave the default location of "C:\Temp\Process_Modeler_Client_8.9" alone and click Next>.

9. Click Next> on the Welcome screen.

10. On the Customer Information screen, leave the default information and settings alone and click N ext>.

11. On the Choose Destination Location screen, leave the default location of "C:\Program Files\PeopleSoft\Process Modeler\" alone and click N ext>.

12. On the Setup Type screen, leave the default choice of " Typical" alone and click N ext>.

13. Reboot your computer when prompted.

Confirm that the Process Modeler shortcut has been added to your Windows desktop:
