To rename an object in your workspace, double-click on the object. The dialog box for that object should appear. You type over the name that appears in the field at the top of the screen.

Some tips regarding the renaming of objects:

• If you rename an object, the name is changed everywhere within that model. So if you re-use a task, remember that renaming it will rename it throughout your model.
• Be sure to check that you renamed the correct object. A common problem is that people rename their swim lanes, rather than the object, by accident.
