NOTE: Legacy PeopleSoft machines built before June 2004 may have Norton AntiVirus version 7.61 or Symantec AntiVirus version 8.0.x. These versions are both standard on those machines, and do not have to upgraded at this time. An organized upgrade of those machines will occur Q4, 2004.

To find out what version of Symantec's AntiVirus software you have installed:

1. Click on the Start menu, then on Programs.

2. Look for a Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition entry or a Symantec Client Security entry.

   • The entry may not be in alphabetical order, so be sure to check the entire Programs list.

3. Click on Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition or Symantec AntiVirus Client, whichever is applicable.

4. Click on Help and then About...

   • Symantec AntiVirus client also shows the version number on the main screen in the Program versions section.

A screen with the version number should appear.
