How to create, use and delete drafts in Lotus Notes
If you find yourself sending virtually the same memo again and again, you'll want to create the memo and save it as a Draft so you won't have to rewrite it each time you need to send it.

Click on the New Memo button in your mail file.
Fill in the To:, cc:, bcc:, or Subject: fields if these will always stay the same.
Type the memo as you always do, but instead of sending it, click on Save as Draft.
Your memo has now been saved as a draft and can be re-used.

To use a Draft memo:
Open the Drafts view in your mail file.
Open the draft you want to send by double-clicking on it.
Fill in the To:, cc:, bcc:, or Subject: fields if you haven't already done so when saving the draft.
Edit any of the text which you need to modify.
Click on the Send button to send the memo only or click on the Send And File... button to send the memo and file it in a folder in your mail file.
The draft has now been sent.

To delete the draft from the Drafts folder:
Placing a check mark next to the draft.
Click on the Delete button so the draft is marked for deletion.
Refresh your screen by selecting the {F9} key.
