A predetermined set of holidays, based on the holiday group(s) selected, can be imported into the Lotus Notes calendar.

To import holidays into the calendar:

1. Open the Lotus Notes calendar by clicking the bookmark on the left hand side of the screen or by clicking the calendar icon at the bottom of the navigation panel in the mail file.

2. Click the Tools button and select Import Holidays... from the drop down list.

3. Click to the left of as many locations or holiday types to be imported so that a checkmark appears next to each.

4. Click OK.

The predetermined set of holidays based on the locations selected will now appear in the calendar.

Note: Holidays that have been imported into the calendar are not necessarily days that PeopleSoft is closed. The holiday schedule for specific PeopleSoft locations can be found in the Benefits area of the Human Resources site on Planet PeopleSoft. Select a specific location and click the Holiday Schedule link in the Tools & Resources section to see the holidays for that location.
