WebEx provides both a study hall as well as self-paced training (WebExpress) for all current and potential users. It is highly recommended that any user who will be hosting a WebEx meeting attend either or both of the training programs.

Instructor led training is an excellent opportunity to join a training session with one of the trainers from WebEx so that they can answer specific questions about WebEx features and use.

WebExpress allows self-paced training covering many features available in WebEx.

Instructor led training sessions are given Monday - Friday at various intervals during the day. The training classes are 30 - 90 minutes in duration and are filled on a first come, first served basis. The classes are live online with the trainer. The training classes are a free service provided by WebEx. Multiple sessions may be attended if needed.

To attend an instructor led training session:

1. Go to http://training5.webex.com/ to launch the main WebEx meeting center site with a link to Training.
   

2. Click Training at the bottom of the left hand navigation panel and click the Registration link. A new browser window will open with the training registration form.

3. Step 1:
   • Select a class: Click the down arrow and select the class that will be attended.
• Your time zone (daylight): Click the down arrow and select the correct time zone.
  
  
4. Step 2:
   • Review the training times. All times the class will be offered during the week will be displayed.

   The times displayed will be in the time zone selected in Step 1.

5. Step 3:
   • Provide the user's first and last name, and e-mail address in the spaces provided.
     
   • Enter up to three options for the training (Date and Time are required).
     
     
6. Click the Send button.

An e-mail notification will be sent to the user with the training class they have been registered for.

WebExpress allows self-paced training covering many features available in WebEx. It is available anytime.

To use WebExpress self-paced training:

1. To launch the WebExpress training site, click here.

2. Click the link to the left of the feature's name and click the Play button.

3. If prompted to download a new player, click Yes. This will add the WebEx player to the machine, but will not affect any other programs.

Most of the training modules take 15 minutes or less to complete.

WebExpress is a free service provided by WebEx. A user can complete and repeat as many modules as needed at any time during the day.
