How to change the synchronization schedule for iNotes Web Access
Note: Lotus iNotes (Webmail) is currently in beta testing mode only and is not available to the general PeopleSoft population. The pilot is currently closed and is not being expanded to include additional users. Look for communications via OneVoice regarding iNotes (Webmail) in the future.
When offline services in iNotes Web Access is set up, a schedule to automatically synchronize the local and server replicas of the iNotes mail file every 60 minutes is created. The schedule can be modified or disabled in the iNotes Sync Manager window.
If the network and Lotus Notes passwords are not the same, the following message will appear each time the automatic synchronization attempts to start - "Incorrect synchronization password for this subscription. Would you like to retry?"
It is recommended that the Lotus Notes password be changed to match the network password. For information on changing the password, see Eureka! document 10070 — How to change the Lotus Notes password.
Depending on the last time the iNotes Sync Manager was run, synchronization may take awhile to complete.
