User roles and privileges in an Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) iMeeting
There are several user roles in an Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) iMeeting. Depending on the user's role, the user will have specific privileges available to them.
Event Initiator: Schedules the meeting and defines the meeting materials that will be used. Has presentation rights upon entering the meeting and may take them back from the current presenter at any time. They can also expel other participants from the iMeeting at any time.
Presenter: Controls the iMeeting, including the ability to load items on the whiteboard, initiate application sharing, demonstrate web sites and pass control to another user. They can also mute a participant who is currently speaking by 'Cutting in Line.' For information on the privileges available to the presenter, see the Presenter Privileges section below.
Speaker: Does not have presenting rights and can only speak to the participants.
Participant: Takes part in the iMeeting. A participant may speak during the meeting, but cannot load items on to the whiteboard without presentation rights. For information on the privileges available to a participant, see the Participant Privileges section below.
All presentation rights are available to the presenter. With presentation rights, the presenter also has the following privileges:
To give presentation rights:
Right click on the participant's name or icon in the Participants window.
Select G ive Presenting Rights from the drop down list.
The participant selected is now designated as the presenter. To take presentation rights back, the original presenter should select their name and follow the procedure above.
Materials can be loaded for viewing in one of four ways:
Click on the item in the Event Materials window.
Right click on the item and select L oad from the drop down list.
Click on the Previous or Next arrow button at the bottom of the Event Materials window to go to the previous or next item on the list respectively.
Click on the U-Turn button at the bottom of the Event Materials window to return to the slide previous to the one currently being displayed.
Acceptable materials to display include:

Most web-based content will display within the participant's window. Some files will launch outside of the participant with their native program/application.
To interrupt the current speaker, right click on the speaker's face and choose Cut In.
"Expel" Participant: A presenter can expel a Participant from the iMeeting and prevent them from rejoining the session.
To expel a Participant, right click on the face of the chosen Participant and choose Expel. The Presenter and Participant will be notfied of the expulsion. The Presenter will be given an option to lock the meeting at this time
To give a participant permission to speak:
Right click on the participant's name or icon in the Participants window.
Select Give the Floor from the drop down list.
Permission to speak has been given to the participant. The participant must click the microphone icon that appears below the Participants window or they can press the {Ctrl} key to gain control.

iMeeting participants can add items and send them to other participants through the Event Materials window.
To add items and send them to others:
Click the Insert... button at the bottom left of the Event Materials window.
Browse to find the item that needs to be sent and double click on it.
A dialog box will appear that says, "Transferring this file to all Participants may take a few moments. Do you want to continue?" Click Yes to upload the item.
The item will only be visible in the Event Materials window to the participant that uploaded it when the upload is complete.
Right click on the item in the Event Materials window and select S end to Participants from the drop down list.
A dialog box will appear that says, "Transferring this file to all Participants may take a few moments. Do you want to continue?" Click Yes to send the item.
After the item has been sent, the participant can display the materials if the presenter or event initiator has given them presentation rights. If the participant has not been given presentation rights, they will only be able to see the uploaded document and cannot transfer it to the others.
