The Communications Center has two ways to view event information - the Catalog and the Calendar.
Catalog: The Catalog lists all open invitation events posted by administrators or only those meetings that the user has created, has been invited to, or set to be open or require registration. Other closed Meetings created by other users will not appear. An iMeeting is always a closed meeting by default.
Sorting: The events can be sorted by event type. To view a specific type of event, click the category that the event falls into. The default is to list All events:
iMentoring: Training or mentoring events typically hosted by a Subject Matter Expert with a small group focus.
iMeeting: Interactive online meeting.
iClass: Online training classes.
iSeminar: For seminars such as those hosted by PeopleSoft Advisor.
iCast: Large scale events.
The events can also be sorted by Name, Department, Type, Date & Time or Moderator. Click the column header to sort by that criteria.
Searching: A search can be done within the events displayed. Select the events that should be searched by clicking the down arrow in the Search in: window and type a key word in the blank window. Click the Go button to begin the search.
Calendar: The event Calendar can be viewed in a daily, weekly or monthly format.
To view the complete details for an event, click the event name. An Event Details window will appear that shows the event length and other comments describing the event.
