Remote access to Enterprise Webcast (Interwise)
Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) can be accessed remotely via RAS. Users connecting via VPN or iPass need to have registered or connected to the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) site previously before trying to connect via VPN or iPass.
There are two ways a user can register. Either can be done when connected directly to the network or via RAS:
Via the PeopleSoft Enterprise Webcast site (preferred method).
Once the user has registered, the user can connect via VPN or iPass directly to the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) site. For detailed instructions, see the Connecting to Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) via VPN or iPass section below.
Registering via the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) web site is the preferred method.
To register via the web site:
Log on to the PeopleSoft Enterprise Webcast site by entering the following in the Address window: http://webcast.peoplesoft.com/psft2.

Click the Enter link to the left of Automated Welcome for the iSeminar.
If a security window displays, click Yes.
A connection with a server will begin processing. The connection status in the Interwise Application window will change from Disconnected (red) to Good (green) or Fair (yellow). Once the connection is established, the user will be registered. The icon in the system tray will also change from gray to yellow and green.
To exit the iSeminar:
Select Main from the menu bar.
Select Exit from the drop down list.
A pop up window will appear that says, "Are you sure you want to exit?" Click Yes.
The iSeminar will then be closed.

Prior to manually registering, a user will need to request a password for PeopleSoft Enterprise Webcast. For additional information, see Eureka! document 16182 — How to request a password for Enterprise Webcast (Interwise).
To manually register to the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) Communications Center:
Right mouse click on the gray "i" icon in the system tray and select Register to Communications Center... from the drop down list.
ICC URL: Enter webcast.peoplesoft.com/psft2 in the window.
ICC Username:
Employees: Enter the five digit employee ID.
Contractors: Enter the network login name.
ICC Password: Enter the password received once the request has been processed.
Click OK.
A window with the confirmation "Registration to Interwise Communications Center (ICC) completed successfully" will appear indicating that the registration is complete. The icon in the system tray will change from gray to yellow and green.

Connecting to Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) via VPN or iPass
The connection to Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) via VPN or iPass will not work if the user has not yet registered or connected to the site.
To connect to Enterprise Webcast via VPN or iPass:
Right click on the green and yellow "i" icon in the system tray.
Select Communications Gateway... from the drop down list.
If prompted, select the http://webcast.peoplesoft.com/psft2 site address.
The browser should now open to the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) Communications Center. The user will automatically be logged into the Communications Center.
