How to send attachments in iNotes Web Access

Document number: 16200

Note: Lotus iNotes (Webmail) is currently in beta testing mode only and is not available to the general PeopleSoft population. The pilot is currently closed and is not being expanded to include additional users. Look for communications via OneVoice regarding iNotes (Webmail) in the future.

Because of some non-standard design elements of the memo form in the iNotes Web Access interface, attachments currently cannot be sent using this interface. If attachments need to be sent when using the iNotes mail file, a user must switch to the WebMail interface so attachments can be sent. The WebMail memo form has a simple design so it can handle attachments to be uploaded. For information on how to switch between the iNotes and WebMail interfaces, see Eureka! document 16198 — iNotes vs. WebMail interface when accessing iNotes Web Access mail file.

The issue of not being able to send attachments using the iNotes interface has been reported to Lotus Development and the firewall vendor. A fix will be implemented as soon as possible.
