WebEx Meeting Center 5.0 - New Features and Enhancements FAQ

How has Meeting Center improved my presentation delivery capabilities?
Meeting Center has enhanced the way meetings are conducted. Now, presenters can improve the flow of their meetings through the delivery of multiple documents and presentations within a single window. Also, Meeting Center enables presenters to better engage their audience with richer presentations by supporting PowerPoint animations and transitions.
Does Meeting Center support multimedia capabilities?
Flash, video and other forms of multimedia can be utilized as powerful tools in sales meetings, project planning sessions, and business discussions. Meeting Center enables presenters to make multimedia an integral part of their meetings by streaming Web content directly to the participants' browsers.
Can Meeting Center now create better recordings?
Meeting Center now enables users to edit and/or integrate recordings to effectively playback more precise information.
What other enhancements have been made to Meeting Center?
Meeting Center offers an updated user interface that simplifies access to the site as well as the meeting experience.
Will anything happen to my previously scheduled meetings?
Your existing scheduled meetings will not be affected although WebEx strongly urges you to update the meeting after the upgrade so that the meeting URLs are brought up to date. To update your meetings:
1. Go to PeopleSoft's WebEx site at http://peoplesoft.webex.com after November 22, 2002.
2. Click on My WebEx and login.
3. Click on any of your meetings.
4. Click the Edit button and then click the Update button.
A new invitation will be sent to all of the invitees listed in the invited attendee list. Be sure to let any other invitees know about the change.
