Minimum Hour Requirements for Time Reports
North America has a minimum hour requirement of 40 hours to be considered a Full Time work week. Some countries have similar requirements. (France has a 35 minimum requirement).
If you have worked less than the minimun required hours for your job assignment, you must use Policy Time to complete the remaining hours.
Part-time employees who are required to fill out Time Reports should record all hours actually worked in the Project Time portion of the Time Report. Any other Policy time taken should also be added to the Time Report. If the total does not meet the minimum number of hours required, then the difference should be recorded as Time Off Without Pay.
If you do not have enough hours to meet the minimum, and are unsure of what to use for Policy Time, contact your manager for further instruction.
For more information on non project related time categories, see Eureka! document # 17232- How to Report Non-Project Related Time.
