LATAM Psynergy/FSCM enhancements
The following enhancements were implemented with the May 2003 Psynergy/FSCM Quarterly Release in Latin America (LATAM). This new functionality was available as of Monday, May 19th.
IMPORTANT: Psynergy/FSCM Chile and Venezuela will be available only for General Ledger and OTC modules (Contracts, Projects, Billing, AR). Expenses will be available for time entry and expense entry only, not for expense payment. PTP and Expense Payments will go live 2 months after this release.
LATAM Enhancements:
Psynergy/FSCM Chile Go Live:
Chile is going to join the rest of the countries in Psynergy/FSCM. In order to do this they will go live with General Ledger and OTC during this release and will continue later with PTP two months later. In order for Chile to be able to run their operations in Psynergy/FSCM the following changes were performed:
System Configuration for all modules.
General Ledger Statutory Requirements: Libro Diario, Libro Mayor, Libro Inventarios y Balance, Alt. Account Setup.
Billing Statutory Requirements: Invoice Print, Auxiliar Clientes, Libro IVA Ventas.
Payables Statutory Requirements: Auxiliar Proveedores, Libro IVA Compras, Resumen Anual Retenciones, Withholding Certificate.
Psynergy/FSCM Venezuela Go Live:
Venezuela, together with Chile, is going to join the rest of the countries in Psynergy/FSCM. In order to do this they will go live with General Ledger and OTC during this release and will continue later with PTP two months later. In order for Venezuela to be able to run their operations in Psynergy/FSCM the following changes were performed:
System Configuration for all modules.
General Ledger Statutory Requirements: Libro Diario, Libro Mayor Analitico, Balance de Comprobacion, Balance General Ganancias y Perdidas, Alt Account Setup.
Billing Statutory Requirements: Invoice Print, Libro IVA Ventas.
Payables Statutory Requirements: Libro IVA Compras, Withholding Certificate and Payment Order.
MultiCurrency functionality in Contracts and Projects has been enabled in order to process transactions in different currencies.
Revenue Tracking for Fix Fee report was created in order to track revenue recognition for fix-fee projects, as only amounts that were previously invoiced can be recognized in LATAM.
Alternate Name for Customer: Field was enabled in order to invoice to an alternate customer name.
Informational Field for Contract: Field enabled in Contract Entry in order to enter the contract's region. This is needed for Caribbean as they need to enter Southeast region in the contract, but the actual region could be a different one.
Dunning Letters for LATAM in both Spanish and English were created.
Installment plans for LATAM were created in order to invoice according to their collection plans.
Aging Report for LATAM was created in order to fit the needs of the LATAM Collections team.
Zero Dollar Invoice for Training: Ability to cancel invoice that has been generated from Training based on prepaid amounts, but still be able to send information to TrainAdm in order to update utilization flags.
Inflation Adjustment functionality in GL has been implemented for Argentina, Chile, Venezuela and Mexico. Inflation journal entries will be created based on the configuration information entered in the system. These entries will be created in STATADJUST ledger for statutory purposes.
Brazil Statutory Requirements: In order to comply with Brazil Statutory requirements the following customizations were performed:
General Ledger Statutory Reports: Livro Diaria, Razao Analitico, Balancete, Balanco, Demostracao de Resultados, Relatorio por Centro de Costo, Movimiento Mes a Mes por Conta.
Standard Historical Functionality: Online, Batch and Upload processes were created in order to maintain the "Historico" value for each journal line.
Bordero de Cobranzas: file created in order to be sent to the bank with information regarding collections to be performed.
Asset Management Statutory Reports: Relatorio Resumo por Conta, Posicao Valorizada do Mes por Conta.
Contracts Reports: Maintenance and Training queries.
