How to use My Wallet (MTE)
You can speed the entry of your expenses by using the My Wallet feature. My Wallet is populated by the American Express Corporate Card transactions each business day. If any of the charges are not business related, check the Personal Expense box. You will not be able to use My Wallet transactions more than once.
Please note that American Express transactions will be available for use in My Wallet with 24-48 hours from the date of purchase. This waiting period is subject to when the merchant reports the transaction to American Express.
To use My Wallet:
Refresh your Transaction Data. This will download your online My Wallet transactions into your Mobile My Wallet tool. Once downloaded, these transactions may be used in an expense report created in the Mobile Time and Expense (MTE) application. For additional information, see Eureka! document 17306 — How to Refresh Control Data.
Create a new expense report using MTE. For additional information, see Eureka! document 17309 — How to enter a new Expense Report using Mobile Time and Expense with My Wallet activated.
Click the My Wallet link located on the top right side of the panel.
On the My Wallet Assignment panel, check the box next to any of the transactions you wish to include on this expense report. If the box is grayed out, a Trans Type (or Expense Type) needs to be selected from the drop-down box. You will then be able to check the box and populate the transaction into the expense report.
Note: As Expense Reports with more than 50 lines may cause an Application Message timeout error, it is recommended that you do not create an Expense Report that contains more than 50 lines.
Click
OK to add each transaction to your expense report. Each transaction will create a new expense row.
The status of a credit card transaction can be changed by selecting Lists from the menu bar and Manage My Wallet from the drop down list.
