When working in a worksheet in Microsoft Excel, you may notice that you are missing either the vertical or horizontal scroll bars, or the worksheet tabs.

To select (show) scroll bars or worksheet tabs:

1. From the Excel menu bar, select Tools.

2. Select Options from the drop-down list.

3. Click on the View tab.

4. Click in the box next to Horizon tal scroll bar, Vertical scroll bar, or Sheet ta bs. This will place a check mark in the box which indicates that these items should be shown on the active worksheet.

To deselect (hide) scroll bars or worksheet tabs, follow the steps above to remove the check mark in the appropriate box.
