Document number: 18095

Some of the templates in Microsoft Word used by PeopleSoft may have pictures / icons / graphics appearing that you don't wish to have in your document.

If you have set any of your templates as Read-Only, you will not be able to save any changes you make to those templates.

To disable the pictures, do the following:

  1. From the Microsoft Word menu bar, select View.
  2. Select Toolbars, then AutoText.
  3. On the AutoText toolbar, click on the AutoText icon next to the toolbar.
  4. Click on the AutoText tab to bring it to the front of the AutoCorrect window.
  5. From the Enter A utoText entries here list, click once on an entry to select it, then click on the Delete button.
  6. This process may be repeated for as many changes as you wish to make.
  7. Once you have completed your desired changes, click on the OK button to save your changes.

This will remove the pictures/icons within the template.
