Within the FINDISMFG - GA or Sales Demo Package are the auxilliary budgets package. Essbase is needed to run financial reports to Microsoft Excel.

NOTE: You must first have ESSBASE 4.1.2 client/server installed on your computer. The Essbase application software can be installed from the Software Library.

If the Essbase Excel client does not automatically load, you can load it manually by doing the following:

1. Select Tools from the Excel menu bar.
2. Select on Add- Ins from the drop-down list.
3. Click on the Browse button, and navigate to the C:\APPS\DB\ESSBASE\BIN directory.
4. Single click on the file essexcll.xll file, then on the OK button.
5. Once the add-in is installed, you must verify that C:\APPS\DB\ESSBASE\BIN is included in the path.
   • Single click on the My Computer icon.
   • Click on Properties.
   • Click on the Environment tab.
   • If C:\APPS\DB\ESSBASE\BIN is not in your path, add it in.
   • After adding in the above to your path, click on the Set button, then click on OK.
6. Reboot your computer.
