Entering a Contingent Worker in HRMS
After the requisition has been approved in eProcurement, you will need to add the contingent worker in HRMS. This will generate the contingent worker's ID (for information about this ID, see the Contingent Worker ID section below). For information on submitting the eProcurement requisition, see Eureka! document 18147 — Entering a new requisition for services.
Note: It may take up to 72 hours to enter the contingent worker's information in HRMS and generate an ID. You will not be able to order assets for the worker without this ID. Failure to complete the HRMS forms promptly could delay the worker's system access and equipment.
Select the contingent worker's location from the following list for detailed instructions on adding the contingent worker's information in HRMS:

All contingent workers are assigned IDs in HRMS (T followed by five digits, e.g., T12345). Contingent workers starting on or after Sept. 8, 2004 must use this ID to access PeopleSoft applications such as Time Reporting.
Note: If the contingent worker's resource type is changed in HRMS, the worker will be assigned multiple HRMS (T12345) IDs.
Contingent workers who started before Sept. 8, 2004 were also assigned network IDs (generally C1 followed by the worker's first initial and last name, e.g., C1psmith). These contingent workers should continue to use this ID for system access.
For more information on policies and procedures for hiring contingent workers, see the Purchasing site on Planet PeopleSoft.
