Documentum Event Notification

You can set up Event Notifications to let you know any time a user performs one of the following actions on a specified document:

To set up an Event Notification:

  1. Open Windows Explorer or Desktop Client and log in to the appropriate docbase. For more information, see Eureka! document 18081 — How to log in to Documentum.

  2. Locate the desired document. For information on locating a document in Documentum, see Eureka! document 18243 — How to browse or search in Document.

  3. Right click the document and select Properties. Or, select the document, click the File menu, and select Properties.

  4. Select the Advanced tab. Click Selected and select the actions that should trigger a notification email for this document.

You will receive a notification in your Documentum Inbox every time the specified actions are performed on this document.
