Documentum allows you to delete a single file or several files simultaneously. It also allows you to delete a specified version of a document or all versions.

To delete a document from a docbase:

1. Using Windows Explorer or Desktop Client, locate and select the file(s) you would like to delete.

2. Press Delete or select the File menu, then select Delete.

If you delete a file that you have checked out from our Local Files folder, Desktop Client will cancel the checkout, then remove the file from your Local Files folder. All changes that were made after you checked the file out will be lost.
