Symptom:

If you work in a regional office or from home and connect to Documentum over the WAN or RAS, you may have experienced poor performance while accessing Documentum and searching for Contracts.

Resolution:

The recommended solution for impoved Documentum performance is to connect to Documentum via the Citrix server. To install Citrix:

1. Follow the steps below to install the Citrix software client from the Software Library or open a Northstar ticket to request SMS delivery.

1. Open Lotus Notes, then open the Software Library by clicking the bookmark link.

   If you don't have the Software Library bookmark, see Eureka! document 16250 — How to add the Software Library database link to Lotus Notes for instructions on installing the Software library bookmark.

2. Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.

3. Click By Package Name. This view will probably already be showing as it is the default view.

4. Scroll until you see Citrix ICA Clients and double-click on it to open it.

5. Follow the instructions on the page to install the software.

2. Connect to Citrix at the following URL: http://psp-citrix-04/citrix/nfuse17/login.asp.

3. Go to the Legal community site on Planet PeopleSoft for Citrix log in instructions.
