If you have a legacy PeopleSoft machine, you may install the software from the Software Library. If you have a legacy J.D. Edwards machine, please request the software via a NorthStar ticket. (The Software Library entry will not work properly for legacy J.D. Edwards machines.)

Note that there is a department charge for this package.

Note: The level of support for this application extends to its installation on your PeopleSoft system. For functionality issues please refer to the Help File in the application.

To install Adobe Acrobat PDFWriter/Distiller from the Software Library, follow the steps below.

1. Open Lotus Notes, then open the Software Library by clicking the bookmark link.

If you don't have the Software Library bookmark see document 16250 — How to add the Software Library database link to Lotus Notes for instructions on installing the Software library bookmark.

2. Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.

3. Click By Package Name. This view will probably already be showing as it is the default view.

4. Look for the entry PDFWriter, Distiller and double-click on it to open it.

5. Follow the instructions on the page. They include information regarding the charge to your department for downloading the software and how to download it.

   Once you've installed the program, a new printer icon is added to your machine.
