The PGS Deal Approval Templates are being standardized on a global basis to support the new processing procedures around the PGS Deal Approval Database. What follows in this package represents the recommended templates that are currently under being used in Production. Some of these templates are in discussion with regional representatives involved in the development of Global Deal Review procedures.

The documents that are included in the Deal Approval Guidelines Appendices are not final and will require additional coordination with each theater and region in order to determine their complete utility. In order to familiarize the PGS business development teams and other deal review participants with these standards, further instruction is necessary prior to their mandated use in order to ensure that the teams are able to complete them fully and accurately.

Although some duplication of information remains across the attached documents since these documents must be able to stand-alone for their specific function, measures have been taken to reduce the level of redundancy across the forms. Where appropriate, cover pages have been eliminated since these documents will be uploaded to the Deal Approval Database and be captured there as documentation detail to the high-level information contained in that database about respective opportunities.

While these templates represent an 80% solution towards standardized deal review documentation, further efforts are planned in Phase II of the Deal Review Initiative to further refine and tailor these documents to support PGS Global Business Development Pursuits. The documents will be further clarified, streamlined, and where appropriate additional information will be captured to more fully document the business development opportunity to enable management review and approval.
