Document number: 18916

To log in to the Worldwide Demonstration System (WDS) via any connection:

  1. If you are accessing the WDS website through wds.peoplesoft.com, you will be prompted for your WDS account information. Enter your username (AB#), then in the password section enter your WDS access account password (generally AB# as well).

  2. If you have not filled out the access request form, see Eureka! document 18915 - Requesting access to WDS.

  3. Once you have logged in to WDS, you will see a list of environments you have access to.

  4. The Static Environments are available to everyone. It is recommended that you still schedule as a courtesy to others. The Static Environment login information is:

  5. Username: OWADMIN
    Static Environment Password: temp

  6. All other environments are viewable only if you have been given or requested access to that specific environment.

  7. Once you are issued an environment and a temporary password for that environment, you will need to log in to the Core Desktop to change your password. You will not be able to log in using any of the other icons until you have changed your password.

  8. The Copy Files to ENV### Core Desktop icon is used to copy files you have on your system to your environment.

  9. The ENV### Functional Desktop icon is the third party application server.

  10. Click the ENV### Portal icon, then click the OneWorld Portal link to get into the portal version of your demo. The username and password for the portal is the same for all environments:

  11. Enterprise 8.10:

    Username: psft
    Password: psft

    Enterprise 8.9:

    Username: jde
    Password: jde

  12. The Direct Access to ENV### Portal icon is used to bypass the Citrix client but requires SecurID authentication. The Username is your AB#, the Password is your SecurID PIN and token numbers together.

  13. You are now in your environment.

WDS World/Self Service Environment :

WDS has a World/Self Service environment in the Static Environments folder available for demos. Multiple users can access this environment at the same time. For more information on static environments, see Eureka! document 18921 — WDS Static Environments.

The World/Self Service environment requires a WDS World account to be set up. Users may have a WDS account which allows them to log in to wds.jdedwards.com, but that will not let them log into the self services areas of the World demo. To request an account, see Eureka! document 18915 — Requesting access to WDS.

The WDS World user account is not needed to log in to the following Self Service areas:
