Copying your Favorites to another machine or location
If you get your machine rebuilt, have a second machine or want to share your favorites with another person the process is easy. You can copy them the same way as any other files or folders. If you want to be able to access these Favorites from Internet Explorer you should copy them to the "Favorites" folder or a subfolder.
How can I copy and save my favorites folders or files?
Open Windows Explorer.
If you are copying from another machine, map a drive letter to that other machine.
If you are copying from your backup, open Connected Backup
For Windows NT navigate to c:\winnt\profiles\(your username)\favorites\.
For Windows 2000 navigate to c:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\favorites\.
Find the folder or file you want to share. Right click, then select Copy.
Navigate to the location you want to save, select Paste.
