Auto-fill of remembered passwords in Internet Explorer, MSN messenger, Outlook Express will not be transferred as part of the migration.  This is a security feature from Microsoft.  It does not allow copying of the files containing the passwords. The remember password feature is inherently insecure and you should not use it in most instances.  For more information on this feature see Eureka! document 19010 — Internet Explorer cached information and autocomplete.

Here are some things you can do:

1. Log in using your regular user name and password for the site.

2. If you have forgotten your password for the site:

• Log off the PEOPLESOFT domain.

• Log back on using your old domain.

• Go to the site and login using the cached password.   Then change your password (if it will let you without prompting for the old password)

3. Find the link or method the site uses for if you have forgotten your password.
4. Contact the site's technical support for additional assistance.
