ERROR: You must first add your mail file... and Unable to encrypt saved mail...
The following Lotus Notes error messages occur because the location document for the location you are currently in (Office or Island) has the incorrect mail server or mail file name specified:
If you are receiving this error message and are working in Office (Network) mode, click here.
If you are receiving this error message and are working in Island (Disconnected) mode, click here.
For instructions on finding the file name of your mail file, click here.
If you are in Office (Network) mode:
Select File from the menu bar.
Select Mobile from the drop down menu.
Select Edit Current Location... from the next drop down menu.
From the Mail field, verify that the Mail file location: field is set to on Server. If it is incorrect, click on the down arrow to change it to on Server.
From the Mail field, verify that the Mail file: field has the exact file name of your mail file in the following format - mail\ filename - where filename is the file name of the server replica of your mail file. If it is incorrect, type the exact file name for the server replica of your mail file in that field. For instructions on finding the file name of your mail file, click here.
From the Servers field, verify that the Home/mail server: field has the full server name of the server where your mail file is located. If it is incorrect, type the name of the server where your mail file is located.
Save your changes by clicking on the Save and Close button to exit the screen.
After you modify the location document to reflect the correct server and/or mail file name, you should no longer receive either error message.

If you are in Island (Disconnected) mode:
Select File from the menu bar.
Select Mobile from the drop down menu.
Select Edit Current Location... from the next drop down menu.
From the Mail field, verify that the Mail file: field has the exact file name of your local mail file. If it is incorrect, type the exact file name for the local replica of your mail file in that field. For instructions on finding the file name of your mail file, click here.
Save your changes by clicking on the Save and Close button to exit the screen.
After you modify the location document to reflect the correct mail file name, you should no longer receive either error message.

To find the file name of your mail file:
Highlight your mail file by single clicking on it.
If in Island (Disconnected) mode, make sure you're highlighting the local replica of your mail file.
Select File from the menu bar.
Select Database from the drop down menu.
Select Properties from the next drop down menu.
You will see the file name in the Filename: field.
This is the exact information which should be included in the Mail file: field in either the Office or Island location document, depending on which mode you are working in.
