ERROR: #OC:03

If you receive the error message "#OC:03" when trying to compose, save or send a document in Lotus Notes, it could be that some part of that document or form has become corrupt.

To resolve this issue, remove the information in the Subject: field and try to save or send the document again. 

If removing the information in the Subject: field does not work, copy the data to the clipboard from the document which you are having problems with. Then, create a new document and paste the data into the new document. Once the data has been pasted into the new document, you can delete the problem document.

Currently, no further information regarding this error message is available. If you continue receiving the error message after trying both steps above, contact Technical Support Operations so that they can assist you further or refer you to a Notes Administrator.

 

 


To copy data to the clipboard in Lotus Notes:

  1. Open the problem document.

  2. Click the cursor in the body of the document.

  3. Select Edit from the menu bar.

  4. Select Select All from the drop down menu.

  5. Select Edit from the menu bar.

  6. Select Copy from the drop down menu.

The information is now on the clipboard and is ready to be pasted into the new document.

Note: If you copy other information prior to pasting the original information copied, it will be overwritten on the clipboard. The clipboard can only retain one copied document at a time.

To paste data from the clipboard into a document in Lotus Notes:

  1. Open or create a new document.

  2. Click the cursor in the body of the document where you want the copied information to be placed.

  3. Select Edit from the menu bar.

  4. Select Paste from the drop down menu.

The last data copied to the clipboard has now been pasted into the new document and you can delete the problem document.
